Administrative Council

The Administrative Council provides for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources at Salem. It also provides for the administration of Salem's organization and temporal life. It envisions, plans, implements and annually evaluates the mission and ministry of Salem UMC. The Administrative Council is the administrative agency of the charge conference.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee compiles annually a complete budget for the church and submits it to the Administrative Council for review & adoption. The Finance Committee is also charged with the responsibility for developing and implementing plans that will raise sufficient income to meet the budget adopted by the Administrative Council. It shall administer the funds received according to instructions from the Administrative Council.

Staff Parish Relations Committee

The SPRC assists the pastor and staff in assessing their gifts and setting priorities for leadership & service. It is the responsibility of this committee to communicate with the Administrative Council when there is a need for other leaders or for employed staff to perform in areas where utilization of the gifts of the pastor and staff proves an inappropriate stewardship of time.

Trustee Committee

The Trustee Committee has the supervision, oversight and care of all real property owned by Salem. The Trustee Committee reviews annually the property, liability and crime insurance coverage on church-owned property, buildings and equipment. The Trustees also receive and administer all bequests made to Salem.

The Trustee's are always looking for volunteers to help with projects around the church....from caring for the courtyard and the many flowers & shrubs around the building to painting projects inside the church.
