We believe children and youth are not just the future of the church — they’re an essential part of our community right now.
We’re working to create engaging, age-appropriate experiences that help kids and teens connect with God, grow in their faith, and feel truly welcomed.
3 yrs. – 5th grade (Jesus & Me)
Sundays at 9:30 AM
Jesus & Me (JAM) runs during the contemporary 9:30 am Sunday service and is designed to make faith fun, interactive, and meaningful.
How It Works
Large Group Gathering: We start with familiar songs and a big weekly theme. We then focus on one song at a time for several weeks so that kids can confidently sing along to songs they know.
Prayer and Offering: Kids learn about giving and caring for others.
Small Group Time: Everyone breaks out into small groups for age-appropriate lessons that bring the big idea to life.
What to Expect Your First Time
- Join us in the downstairs at 9:30 AM.
- JAM volunteers will sign you in at the bottom of the stairs.
6th – 8th grade (Confirmation)
Wednesdays at 6:00 PM. Confirmation starts in September and goes until April.
Confirmation is a special time of exploring faith, asking questions, and discovering what it means to make your faith your own.
Led by our pastor, confirmation helps students:
- Understand core Christian beliefs
- Explore personal faith journeys
- Decide whether to confirm their baptism
9th – 12th Grade (High School Youth Group)
Meets Monthly (see calendar)
Our youth group is a growing ministry designed to meet teens where they are.
We’re creating a space where youth can:
- Build authentic friendships
- Discuss faith and real-life topics
- Serve together in meaningful ways
- Develop leadership skills

We take the safety of your children seriously. Every volunteer who works with kids at Salem undergoes thorough background checks. Multiple trained adults also supervise our ministry spaces so your children can confidently explore their faith in a secure environment.
